Specialized Pumps for Sand Washing and Filter Presses: Ceramic plunger pumps can be easily programmed with the operating curves required for filtration via the display screen, based on the filtration characteristics of the material being processed and the filter press model. They can also be programmed with the required pressure, flow rate, and time for specific stages of filtration in segments, enabling precise control over material filtration to achieve optimal filtration results.
The intelligent pump monitors data during the filtration process and internally calculates the moisture content of the filter cake inside the filter press. When the set requirement is met, it will automatically shut down and send a filter press discharge signal to trigger the filter press to discharge. After discharge, once the filter press is clamped, the intelligent pump will automatically start feeding. In this way, the filter press achieves fully automated operation.
Advantages:
Wear Resistance: The plunger is made of fired alumina ceramic and precision-ground, with a hardness of over HRC 8.5 and a surface roughness of 0.4 μm. There is no shearing motion between the plunger and the conveyed material, making it suitable for conveying materials containing sand and solid particles.
Strong Self-Priming Capacity: Adopting a plunger-type vacuum pumping method, it has a self-priming capacity of 4–8 meters (the suction lift varies depending on the material specific gravity).
Adjustable Constant Pressure & Automatic Variable Displacement: The working pressure of the plunger slurry pump is adjustable, and can be set arbitrarily within the range of 0–20 kgf/cm². Once adjusted, the pressure will not change with the pump’s output flow rate and will maintain the set pressure. Even if the outlet of the operating pump is fully closed, the pressure will remain unchanged (the
variation shall not exceed the maximum flow rate of the pump, and the flow rate can be zero).
High Pressure and High Efficiency: The maximum pressure of standard models is 20 kgf/cm². When the pressure is ≥ 5 kgf/cm² and the flow rate is the same, the motor power of the plunger slurry pump is 1 to 2 specifications smaller than that of other types of pumps.
Simple Operation: Pressure adjustment only requires tightening or loosening the pressure regulating valve. Once the pressure is set, lock it in place, and no further adjustments are needed afterward.
Low Maintenance Cost: The wearing parts of the pump are the valve plates and plunger seals. The replacement cycle is once every 3–6 months for ceramic slurry, and once every 6–12 months for municipal sludge.
Long Service Life: The service life is at least 15 years.
Customized Production: Based on the actual working condition requirements of each user, flexible configuration is provided to customize products that meet the customer’s production needs.
